Press the release latches to open
the upper and lower front doors.

Press down on the side door
latches and open the side door.

Loosen, but do not remove, the six
screws on the shield.

Use a small Phillips screwdriver to
loosen these screws.

Use the tabs to slide the shield up
until the top three screws fit into
the three keyholes on the shield.

Hold the shield by the tabs and lift
it off.

Warning:

eForms flash memory and firmware cards are

easily damaged by static electricity. Touch something
metal on the printer before you touch a card.

Note:

The row of metal pins on the eForms card must be

fully inserted along its entire length.

Unpack the eForms flash memory
card.

Avoid touching the metal pins on
the bottom of the card. Save the
packaging.

Holding the eForms flash memory
card by its sides, align the plastic
pins on the card with the holes
on the system board.

Use the bottom system board
connection first, and then the top
one.

Push in until the eForms flash
memory card is firmly in place.

Print Configuration Page

To confirm the installation of the eForms memory, please print a Menu page by pressing the "Menu" button on the printer front panel until you see "UTILITY MENU" then press "Select" and again press the "Menu" button until you see "Print Menus" and finish by again pressing the "Select" button. After a few moments the printer will print one or two pages showing all the settings and options in the printer. Near the end, you should find a section titled "Installed Features" and if the flash memory is properly installed, you should see it listed just below that heading.
