LaserJet 2100/2200 tray select operation in a Windows environment

If you are using a legal size stock, we recommend that you install it in the pull out tray. Extend the tray by squeezing the blue button in the back of the tray and pulling it back to legal size. Use the fold down tray for letter size paper.

When operating in Windows NT 4.0 workstation, after installing the efplus.com LJ4 printer driver or compatible, the printer driver can be configured (click Start / Settings /  Printers, select the correct driver and click File / Properties ) in the NT Forms tab to specify what paper size is loaded in each tray. Select the tray in the first pull down list and then set the paper size for that tray in the second pull down list. Repeat for each tray installed in the printer.

Unfortunatly, systems that use Crystal Reports (including System 21) can become confused and will start printing multiple pages (numbered) for the same record. In the case of Crystal Reports the tray must be set inside the .RPT file and NOT in the NT Forms Tab.
