For parallel port connected printers:
SmartBox
The eforms SmartBox provides eforms image storage in a small external package
to any LaserJet compatible (PCL 5) printer. The SmartBox offers:
- simple installation (no need to open the printer)
- the ability to update multiple eforms images remotely at a moments
notice
- flexibility because it is not printer model specific, allowing
for removal and replacement as needed
- external installation resulting in the unlikelihood that a SmartBox
will accidentally be lost if a printer is returned for service
- cost-effective solutions for form template storage
For network connected printers:
NetBox
The "Program" type BOX (known as NetBox, WorkBox, or RamBox)
is designed for printers that are not connected directly to a workstation
via a parallel
cable, but do support FSA RAM (not just FSA FLASH), RAM as a download target,
or RAM Resource Saving. Each system is slightly different; therefore, the
Box must be programmed to match the printer.
WorkBox
The "Program" type BOX (known as NetBox, WorkBox, or RamBox)
is designed for printers that are not connected directly to a workstation
via a parallel
cable, but do support FSA RAM (not just FSA FLASH), RAM as a download target,
or RAM Resource Saving. Each system is slightly different; therefore, the
Box must be programmed to match the printer.
Similar to the NetBox, the "download target" programmed Boxes
(WorkBox) can be reprogrammed at the property for any supported printer.
The physical hardware
is identical to the SmartBox, NetBox and RamBox.
RamBox
The "Program" type BOX (known as NetBox, WorkBox, or RamBox)
is designed for printers that are not connected directly to a workstation
via a parallel
cable, but do support FSA RAM (not just FSA FLASH), RAM as a download target,
or RAM Resource Saving. Each system is slightly different; therefore, the
Box must be programmed to match the printer.
The standard Resource Saving boxes "RamBOX" can be reprogrammed
at the property for any supported printer. The hardware is identical
to the SmartBox,
NetBox and WorkBox.
What is a Reg/Key Packet?
Our Reg/Key Packet is a proprietary form we designed to eliminate the need
to purchase separately, Registration forms and Key Packets. The stock is die-cut
and perforated and sometimes pre-printed with color graphics for use with
eforms via your laser printer.
When a Registration is called to print by the Property Management Software,
the Reg/Key Packet paper is drawn from the main tray and printed with data,
advertising and graphics, including the guest name and room number on the
Key Packet. Many hotel brands have made this form a standard so we may also
pre-print custom graphics in color, which enhances the product.
Features:
- Two forms in one.
- Advertising of Guest Services and/or map of the property.
- Guest name and room number printed on Key Packet.
- Die cut to accommodate the insertion of the plastic key card.
Benefits:
- Eliminates need to purchase registration forms and key packets.
- Significantly REDUCE COSTS – Huge savings!
- Information easily updated onsite through email and file download.
- Printing the guest name and room number rather than providing a handwritten
key packet to the guest enhances quality of product.
While the guest is reviewing and signing the registration form, the
front desk person makes two folds and inserts the key card.
