Updateing Printer Resident FLASH Memory with .ALL files

To update E-Forms stored in FLASH memory on the HP LJ 4/5/5si/6P/4000/5000/8000 series printers:

Go to the command prompt (Start / Programs / MS DOS prompt) and type:

copy filename.all LPT1 /b

Where filename.all is the name and extension of the E-Forms update file (from us) and LPT1 is the (directly connected) port where the printer is attached.

(note: if you get "Path not found - lpt1" try again with copy filename.all \LPT1 /b)
